Brew was co bred by myself and Jane Ward of Aquila Australian Cattle Dogs of British Columbia, Canada. Jane had taken his mother, Tara to Canada for her CKC Championship and surprised me with Brew upon her return to the states.
He has been a fun dog to have in the show ring. He was by far the most easy to train and he has a great intensity in the ring. Brew won Best Bred By Exhibitor in Show at Arapahoe Kennel Club and finished his GCH quickly. He is a group placing dog in AKC. He finished 2022 ranked 6 in UKC with extremely limited showing.
Brew has been an excellent teacher for some of our junior friends. He helped one achieve her very first “Best Junior” at the ACDCA Regional in Greeley, CO in September 2022. He also helped another get a first place in a large and competitive novice class her second show out. We are happy to share him with juniors who want to learn as he is patient and kind.
He has some of the top Pennhip scores in the breed. As a proven sire, he has really outproduced himself. We have 2 of his daughters on our show string and are very pleased with both structure and temperament.
Brew and his junior handler took a Reserve Best in Show at High Plains Kennel Club on December 31, 2023. He also finished his UKC Championship.
